Use this recipe to make BBQ Pulled Pork on one side of your CrockPockets and Mac and Cheese on the other. The Pork is set and forget…the Mac takes a little more math…but if CrockPockets can do it—you can too!
Pork-Cola Shoulder
- 2lb Pork Shoulder
- 1 packet Slow Cooker Pork Seasoning
- 1 Bottle of Coca-Cola (or Root beer, Diet Coke, Pepsi, anything with that sweet, cola syrup)
Cover all sides of the Pork Shoulder with the seasoning and place in one Pocket
Cover with Cola
Cook on low for 8hours, enjoy
Mac and Cheese
DO NOT START UNTIL PORK has 2.5 hours remaining cook time, otherwise it will overcook
- 1-box UNCOOKED pasta
- 1-Cup Broth*
- 1-Cup half and half
- 2 cans Evaporated Milk
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- ½ Cup Asiago, shredded
- 1-cup Monterey Jack, shredded
- 1-Cup Sharp Cheddar, shredded
- 1-Cup Gouda Cheese, shredded
Combine all cheese together in a bowl—set aside ½ cup to put on top later
Mix cheese combo and other ingredients into empty side of CrockPockets
Cook on low for 2 hours, add the remaining cheese mix on top and cook an additional 30min.
Pork and Mac should be finished at the same time, serve, and enjoy!
